Lupos Global has a requirement for a Helicopter Base Manager to be based in Aberdeen, UK. Our client specialises in providing bespoke aviation solutions for emergency services, corporate and utility operators.

Summary:

The Base Manager’s function is an operational management function, reporting directly to the BU Manager Oil and Gas and the NP Ground Ops. It is the base manager’s responsibility to run the O&G base, by managing, guiding, coaching and ensuring all staff have the required resources to execute daily activity.

He/she coordinates and controls the Oil &Gas operations to ensure compliance with contract agreements, relevant regulations, standards and policies for safe and cost-effective operations.

He/She has responsibility in managing all supplier contracts for the base and maintaining key relationships with stakeholders including Aberdeen airport, all local suppliers and contractors.

He/she has a leading role in helping to shape the culture of the company; Ensuring that the values of the company are communicated and understood at all levels, providing clarity as to the expected behaviour of all employees and the development of a high-performance culture.

Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in people management & leadership.
• Relevant education or equivalent by experience in the aviation sector is a plus.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities with a track record of driving profitable growth
• ICT literate (MS Office)
• Languages: English: fluent in understanding – writing – speaking
• Ability to work under pressure
• Looks for direct solutions & improved work procedures
• Budget control experience
