Lupos Global has a requirement for a Project Controls Manager (Helicopters) to be based near Oxford or Shawbury, UK.

This is for Permanent position and to work on a brand-new contract.

Our client is the largest Helicopter Manufacturer and offers bespoke completions, maintenance and spares support for both Civil and Military sectors.

Duties and responsibilities:

Development and maintenance of project control Project Management Baselines including:

- Scheduling and updating progress in Primavera P6

- Creation of project structures in SAP to support activities in line with company policies

- Creation and maintenance of project level estimates at completion for agreement with finance

Execution of internal Integrated baseline reviews processes specifically:

- Creation and integration of control account plans

- Creation and integration of baseline change documentation

- Vertical and Horizontal alignment data traces

Monitoring and reporting of projects against the Project Management Baselines including use of EVM techniques to provide advanced warning

Staff coaching and roll out of EVMS solutions in AHUK:

- Working with internal departments to embed earned value management ways of working

- System improvement identification and deployment

Risk and Opportunity Management process management and delivery

Management of EVMS documentation and artefacts in accordance with SAE 784 - D

The post holder would ideally have the following Skills:

EVMS deployment experience

Advanced excel skills

EVM Qualification from a recognised body (Desirable)

Primavera P6 inc Pertmaster (Desirable)

Sword Active Risk Manager (Desirable)

Sap R3 (Desirable)

The post holder will have the following Education, Qualifications or Training:

STEM Degree

STEM degree with project management training (Desirable)

The post holder should have the following Experience:

5-10 years’ experience in Defence or similar public service industry (Desirable)

Direct experience with ministry of defence (Desirable)

Travel:

Some travel between Oxford, Kidlington and Northern Ireland

Full time position:

Monday to Friday -Flexible working. 3 days a week must be in the office.
