Lupos Global has a requirement for a Chief Engineer - Reliability, Maintainability and Safety to be based in Wetzikon, Switzerland. This is a Permanent position.

Our client is set to become a Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies; also contributing to the development of new hybrid and electrical propulsion systems.

The role within the Company would suit someone who is an honest individual with focus and determination who would be working in the field and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

· Manage a small team to Plan (strategically) and coordinate all System Safety, Reliability and Maintainability activities

· Monitor and report all System Safety, Reliability and Maintainability activities within the organization

· Ensure compliance with EASA Certification Specifications

· Check or release documentation in accordance with process flow

· Monitor and report ongoing activities and costs vs budget

· Plan and coordinate (strategically and operationally) capacities vs resources

· Plan and coordinate the activity of suppliers where required.

· Manage and support prototype maintenance planning

Technical requirements:

· Very good leadership skills

· Very good communication skills

· Results driven

· Capability to work in a multicultural environment

· Capability to take decision autonomously

· Leadership experience more than 3 years

· Extensive experience in systems safety, reliability, and maintainability in Aerospace.

· Preferably within an OEM. (Preferably at aircraft level)

· Master’s degree in engineering (preferably Aerospace) or equivalent

· Strong experience in Reliability, Maintainability and Safety
Minimum 5 years

· Very good Knowledge of EASA Part-21J, CS 27/29

· Experience in Aircraft certification and service entry

· Leadership experience more than 3 years

· Requirements management experience more than 2 years

· Excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing
